Littoral missile corvettes are 60-120m, 2000-3000t multi-purpose sea and shallow water surface vessels equipped with 3D phased-array radar systems and vertically-launched cruise missiles. Littoral corvettes may be specialised for mine-clearing, coastal patrols, submarine detection and elimation, or integrated aegis fleet defence. While most corvettes are restored Chrominium-plated Ancestor hulks, several island enclaves in the Hopesail Confederacy have recently commissioned new corvettes with updated specifications.

Well designed and maintained Confederate missile littoral corvettes are modular, structurally resistant to smaller Seablight infestations, mechanically reliable, and offer well-rounded sea and sky offensive capabilities. Littoral corvettes may also have Saviour Flame launchers affixed to the bow, port and starboard sides of the vessel.
