Encore Station is a sophisticated and bustling steel-coated industrial port on Katze Island. It acts as the trans-Atlantica base of operations for the Kontore League Atlantica (KLA) in the Antilles Archipelago.
Central to Encore Station is the kilometre-long Encore nuclear shipping container vessel that powers heavy industries, as well as the Atlantischmrkt trade boulevard. The station is a consortium of hafenmeisters, expert technicians, bonded workers, and free tradespeople.
Technicians are affiliated with trans-Atlantica ‘gildes’, which include the Seehändlers, Steel Maisons, and Wolke Meisters. The shipping and trade hub has around 50,000 residents, is protected by Hopesail Confederacy coast wardens, and provides safe passage between North-Lucayan Archipelago and Empresario. The station’s Überhafenmeister is the ambitious former Seehändler Jorge Geiz.
Atlantischmrkt
The Atlantischmrkt is a broad boulevard that runs in parallel to the docked Encore nuclear freighter. The two-kilometre walk offers the most impressive range of goods in the Antilles Archipelago. Traders have shops, warehouses, and open air market stalls that offer premium goods. Roads surrounding the Atlantischmrkt enable vessel access. The Handelsbüro and The Saal structures mark the beginning and end of the walk.
Encore Nuclear Freighter
The sixth-generation nuclear-powered Encore tanker is a marvel of lost Ancestor technology. The behemoth KLA merchant ship arrived from Nuropa in the 2430s and has sparked decades of commerce and industrial expansion across the Antilles. With it’s containers and cargo holds long depeleted, the Encore is now primarily used for industrial power generation.
Handelsbüro
The Handelsbüro is the Seehändler gilde headquarters that oversees KLA’s administration, shipping certificates, and trade deals. Confederate citizens may enter its foyer to do business and seek permits. Within the compex are a labyrinthine of offices and storage chambers.
The Saal
The imposing brutalist Saal, the Steel Maison’s headquarters, is closed to non- members. The Steel Maisons are secretive KLA architects and engineers with deep connections to both the continental United Constitutional Concordant and the Nuropa Authority.
The Voliere
The KLA’s Wolke Meisters hold court at the Voliere, where airships are docked and pilots are trained. Each day propeller quadcopters, Lampshade Accelerator-craft, and dirigibles come and go from the Voliere’s peak to survey and trade across the Antilles and Atlantica.
