Nido Mutante Nest is a Symbiotic Seablight nest located on the South-West coast of Tainos Supremo. It is the home of the Cangrejo Hybrids, a pyrate warband recently accepted into the Pyrate Republic.
Nido Mutante Nest
The nest begins on the Tainos Supremo coast and runs deep into the island hinterlands. The settlement’s architecture is a unique mix of Southern Antilles shanty town and chitin-shelled Seablight organics.
The nest’s 15,000 residents are hardy and mobile, able to abandon their coastal homes to hide in cliff shelters. Surrounding the nest are organic tendrils capable of spearing attacking threats when provoked.
Conch Kwizin
Set amongst pillars of rock along the Nido Mutante coast, Conch Kwizin is a snail-shaped eatery and tavern famous for its barbecue mahi-mahi, abi alkòl, and shrimp cocktails. The curved bar sells Blyght Beer and hosts gaming tables.
Hermosa’s Guarida
Roughly 10 kilometers past the Silhanan ledge-tops walkways sees a dramatic change in the topography and fauna that composes the landscape. The lush greenery of the cliffs gives way to darker malevolent blighted fungal spores, bio-luminescent lichen and gnarled trees. Within this twisted landscape lies Hermosa’s cave, a Cangrejo Hybrid born from the fungal landscape itself. Explorers intrepid enough to venture this deep into the undergrowth have usually made the journey to imbibe the famed blighted Ayahuasca brew; famous for giving glimpses of a divine future.
Silhanan Ledgetops Walkways
Several kilometres from the coast into the hinterlands of the Nido Mutante Nest lies steep cliffs and lush forests. Connecting these ledges are the Silhana Walkways, a maze of narrow walkways and fraying rope suspension bridges. The walkways knit together a series of forest huts, treetop villages, and cliff-side shelters.
