A Cambiaformas is a human that have been ensnared by a Symbiotic Seablight hyve or nest tendril, undergone physical transformation, and survived. Many unfortunates become blobs or disfigured chimaera. The lucky ones transform into powerful hybrid creatures. A special few can shift between shapes and sizes. Cambiaformas have a weak psychic Blightsense connection to their mother nest’s tendril, allowing for greater independence than Kongregan. They are shunned (if not attacked) within the boundaries of the Hopesail Confederacy, Masqued Guildas, and other human settlements.

– After surviving Symbiotic Seablight ensnarement, your body will begin to transform into a hybrid shape. Roll 1D6 to determine the form:

3: Feathered or webbed avian
4: Hybrid Form
5: Syren
6: Shapeshifter

Responsibilities
Mother Nest: You feel an urge to protect the Symbiotic Seablight Nest that transformed you into a Cambiaformas. You will experience psychic distress whenever you mother nest feels threatened. Ignoring the call for too long causes a random temporary insanity for a random duration (see page 218 of the BRP rule book). A destroyed mother nest will cause you ongoing insanity and random mutations.
