The Mex Tex Madre Hyve wages an eternal war with neighbouring human enclaves. Prime among them are the Mile High Territory, Republic of Rio Grande, and Imperio Eterno de Mexicano. These irritants use Saviour Flame and novel electromagnetic dampener weapons to threaten the hyve’s survival. Their presence prevents the Mex-Tex Madre Hyve from spreading the Awakened Path and enacting the Cosmic Plan.
Each day the Madre Hyve’s orifices birth Swarms, Awakened Blighters, Predator Entities, and Apex Entities tasked with organic harvesting. Enthralled Kongregans work at spawning pools until they are inevitably plucked up and consumed into the biomass. To further promote the Awakened Path, the Madre Hyve has begun protruding microscopic spores grown from human cocoon-pods. These dream spores drift out to impregnate hosts with kaleidoscopic visions of feathered serpent spirits. These dream creatures sing calming songs proclaiming the benefits of embracing the Awakened Path.
