Nazau Island, also known as The Eye, is a circular 80-kilometre stretch of fertile dry-land centrally located in the Lucayan Archipelago.

It is the capital island port of the Nu Providence Aqua Charter (NuPAC), an authoritarian corporate, industrial, and mercantile regime.

The island is a chaotic mixture of luxury villas, decrepit Ancestor infrastructure, jumbled shanty towns, and industrial complexes.

Around 120,000 Union members live on Nazau Island. The majority are ‘Bronce’ level Producers that work as labourers, cleaners, technicians, mariners, and security. Each Bronce Producer reports to a Zafiro Producer, their supervisor and patron. There are around 20,000 Zafiro Producers that own small businesses and fill low-level NuPAC administration and professional roles. These Zafiro Producers report to around 5000 Oro Producers, who own larger companies and lead Providence Union Production Zones. The Oro Producers report to around 1000 Plattinum Producers, the island nation’s elite tier.

In 2467 CE the Platt family is led by the young matriarch, Primary Overseer, and Hopesail Confederacy President, Cara II, the wealthiest person in the Northern archipelagos.

Member’s Club

The Member’s Club is an exclusive resort only accessible to Plattinum Producers. It has fine dining restaurants, cafes, a heated swimming pool, polo grounds, mixed media space, and several lounges.

Torre Tower

Torre Tower is centrally located on Nazau Island and symbolic of the Plattinim Producer tier’s control over the less fortunate. The tower’s dome and iconic radar dish dominates the skyline from every corner of the island. The tower is surrounded by a lake that creates a gap between Plattinum members and the lower class.

The Torre Tower is the central administrative hub of Nazu Island, and the nerve centre of The Union’s operations. This towering structure houses the elite of the Plattinum producers and serves as the sub-headquarters for most of NuPAC’s leadership, including Cara II. The Spire is a marvel of Ancestor tech fused with practical security measures and expansive viewing decks. The height of the tower above the Bronce populus is symbolic of the divide that exists between the haves and have nots between the Union Production tiers.

Charbolas Collective

The Charbolas Collective is a densely packed residential area where most of the Bronce working class reside. Housing throughout this area could be described as makeshift at best, with open fires, corrugated sheeting and tarpaulins sporadically dispersed throughout the mostly dirt-floored expanse. Atizan performers, laughter, song and dance is often found in this area, however, which keeps residents mentally removed from their immediate disparity.

Mercandores Market

The Mercandores Market is a vibrant hub of commerce and trade activities, where goods are bought and sold at all hours of day and night. Ambitious trade concourse lined with vendors splinters off into separate trade halls, merchant guild houses and dockside warehouses. Black market items, controlled by the Bronce Charbolas inhabitants, frequently change hands in these parts, with NuPAC officials often turning a blind eye to non-nefarious deals. Street performances and multiple open air food bazaars are held throughout the market.

Trabajadorex Refinery

On the Southern fringe of the city lies the Trabajadorex Refinery, responsible for providing the Providence Union with a steady supply of refined hydrocarbon fuels and petrochemicals to power industries throughout the Archipelago. A central processing unit feeds refinement through a pipeline network to extensive storage farms, linking directly to a logistics and transport hub for export across the region.

Security is tight around the infrastructure; recent raids on the refinery highlight the importance of such a facility in the context of resource scarcity.
