Copper Nickel Iron Major Update
The ‘Copper Nickel Iron‘ Major Update includes major changes and improvements to the Seablight Antilles TTRPG Setting Guide document.
Major changes are listed in the below change log.
Contents Section
- The front cover has been updated to be more dynamic and provide more information about the Seablight Antilles universe.
- Minor improvements and re-organisation of Content section.
- Captain Max Notz replaced with Captain Soarin’ Strachan as document introductory guide (pictured right).
Introduction Section
- Several images and numerous text edits have been made to the Introduction section.
- The Radio Babel advertisement has been removed due to page constraints; the Blyght Cerveza advertisement has been updated and moved to page 28
- The Transatlantica map on page 27 has been slightly updated. The text made easier to read, and ‘The Q’ added to Central America.
- Several Timeline images have been updated (example pictured right). Several entries have been added to the timeline.
Chapter 1. Character Creation
- Showcase images for each chapter intro page updated. Convenient randomisation numbers added to chapter intros where relevant.
- Step 7. Options: Fatigue, Sanity, Secrets, and Reputation added to Character Creation chapter (page 40).
- Colours improved on page 37 Character Generator.
Chapter 2. Cultures and Factions
- Island names added to Culture Map on page 43
- Numerous text edits and image improvements made to Chapter 2. Cultures and factions.
- Chrominium Cay-Line and Utiaquia Madre Hye added to Hopesail Confederacy map on page 50.
- Secrets added to the final paragraph of each Masged Guilda (pages 69 – 73).
- Pyrate Republic map on page 79 expanded to include Chrominium Cay-Line and Bight of Betrayal.
- Blighted Tribes section reduced – Skullriever, Tyde Kyndrid, and Spindletop Disciples pages removed. New images for Despertado and Tyde Kyndrid (pictured right).
Chapter 3. Heroic Professions
- Three new Heroic Professions added: Node Controller, Quartermixter, and Wolkentanzer
- Sapper re-named to Flarejack, image updated (shown right)
- Updated images: Androide, Assassinex, Falcao Do Mar, Meridian Dragoon, Wandering Judge.
Chapter 4. Locations
- Roker’s Point replaced with Cidade de Jorge.
- Freeport and Habaguanex showcase images updated.
- Randomisation numbers added to Habagauanex.
Chapter 6. Vessels
– Thrust category added to vessels.
- Vessels re-organised into six categories: Sea, Air, land, Underwater, Hybrid, and Unique.
- Surface Waverider re-named to Waveslicer.
- Updated images for Anjo Voadar (pictured right), Trogon, and Thunderbolt.
Chapter 7. Equipment
- Antilles Archipelago financial system updated to CNI: ‘Copper, Nickel, Iron’. 10 Copper coins equal 1 Nickel coin. 10 Nickel coins equal 1 Iron coin.
- Trade table on page 277 updated.
- Bestia Submarina image updated.
Chapter 8. Bestiary
- Re-organised into three sections: Blighted and cybernetic individuals, groups, and blighted and cybernetic creatures.
- Two new groups added: Atoll Militia and Ordem de Embaix Grupo
- Quantum Anomoly added.
- Organelle Hunting Pack and Hopesail Confederacy Patrol images updated.
Chapter 9. Scenarios
- Random Encounter tables added to page 328.
- Visual design of Rumours on page 329 improved.
- The Starter Adventure has been removed. A separate starter adventure booklet will be published by CreatePlay.

All images published in this work (except for the maps created using a Professional Inkarnate account) were generated through a Professional Midjourney account. No artist names, company names, brands, or uploaded reference work were used in the creation of Seablight Antilles images within Midjourney.
The Seablight Antilles art style was created by Dr James J. Dillon by performing more than 90,000 image generations using public domain words and unique concepts created solely within Midjourney from December 2022 – May 2025.
All profit earned from Seablight® Antilles TTRPG Setting Guide Print Edition 1.0 will be gifted to the UN World Food Programme Hunger in Haiti Appeal.
