Mestre Comerciante Carmo IV is head of the Windward Islands Empresa, the commercial branch of the Masqued Guildas.
Carmo IV is a member of the mysterious Mascarada Cabala. As such they are a skilled and competent agent-provocateur, capable of logistical accounting, political maneuvering, and enacting ploys within ploys.
The master trader came to power recently when their predecessor was assassinated for the loss of Windward Islands Empresa territory to local uprisings. Carmo IV has no intention to repeat history, and so is proactively securing trade deals, deploying Falcão Do Mar to troubled ports, and providing privateers with Letters of Marque to protect trade convoys.
The Mestre Comerciante has inherited a strong relationship with the DeSouza Guilda and troubled relations with the Azora Guilda.
