Merchant Airships are floating air vehicles that provide a reliable method of transportation for small-medium sized cargo loads of goods, materials and personnel. Merchant Airships combine hydrocarbon-based motors, dirrigible aviation design, and advanced shock weaponry. Merchant Airships are often tethered to fixed skyports around the Antilles Archipelago during both trade and diplomatic engagements. Traders operate from the airship as a base. Internal security detachments, light armour and rotating machine gun mounts make the Airship more than capable of self defence. They become a well-protected asset when supported by Perimeter Quadcopter sentries or local SeaSkimmer escort.
