Four distinct major cultures dominate the Antilles Archipelago of 2467 CE.
Spanning the Lucayan Archipelagos in the Northern Antilles is the embattled Hopesail Confederacy, an alliance of technocratic idealists, commercial maritime consortiums, and spiritual escapists that seek to survive, trade, protect, and prosper. The Night of Flames at the Bight of Betrayal event in 2466 CE has thrown the Hopesail Confederacy into chaos and pushed it to the brink of civil war.
To the East on Empresario (the former Hispaniola) the mysterious Masqued Guildas have usurped the oligarchic Familias and risen to power in Nueva Esperenza.
The central and Southern islands of Cuba, Jamaica, and the Southern Antilles are now controlled by a loosely allied Pyrate Republic government comprised of marauders, seafarers, and opportunistic privateers.
Surrounding these civilizations to the West are sinister Blighted Tribes. Island chains are infested with psychic mutants, transformed humans, and Seablight Beings. They are empowered by an anachronistic fusion of preternatural powers and exotic Ancestor technologies.

Hopesail Confederacy
The Hopesail Confederacy, commonly referred to as the Confederacy, is a collaborative alliance of steel-walled atolls, island fortress enclaves, hydrocarbon sea drilling rigs, and floating facilities that control maritime movement and trade in the Lucayan Archipelago and surrounding islands.
Pyrate Republic
The Pyrate Republic is a loose alliance of pyrate factions that collectively control the Southern Antilles. The formation of the Pyrate Republic has been turbulent and it remains unsteady. The major factions and their vassals mistrust each other and are always on the verge of splintering.
The recent Night of Flames at the Bight of Betrayal incident in the Hopesail Confederacy has turned the Pyrate Republic’s attention Northwards, where plundering opportunities await.
Masqued Guildas
The Masqued Guildas are an enigmatic kleptocracy based in Eastern Empresario (the former Dominican Republic). These masters of deception are ruled by a shadow council, the Mascarada Cabala, based in the opulent walled coastal city of Nueva Esperanza (the former Santo Domingo).
Blighted Tribes
The Blighted Tribes are a fusion of alien Psychezoa clusters, a network of organic tendrils, and enthralled human mutants that infest the Western Antilles Archipelago and Central America.
In 2467 CE, the Blighted Tribes are comprised of four Parasitic and two Symbiotic clusters that prey on unblighted humans and compete against each other.
